I've logged in to Rivo hundreds of times by now, on my laptop, on my phone and once on my partner's tablet in a hotel room. It's quick, my browser remembers the details, and I'm usually back on the slot I left within seconds.
This page covers the practical side of my account. How I opened it, how signing in works on each device, what happened the day I forgot my password, and the KYC check Rivo ran before my first withdrawal.
- About 3 min My sign up time
- 18+ Age to open an account
- 1 Account per person
- About 1 day My KYC approval
How I opened my Rivo account
The Sign Up button sits top right on every page. I pressed it on my laptop, and a short form opened over the lobby.
Rivo asked for my email, a password and my currency first, then my name, date of birth, address and phone number. I used my real details everywhere, because the name on the account has to match my documents and my payment method when it's time to withdraw.
From the first click to the lobby took me about three minutes, including the confirmation email.
- Pressed Sign Up at the top of the page.
- Entered my email and a long, unique password.
- Picked pounds as my account currency.
- Filled in my name, date of birth, address and phone number.
- Ticked the terms box and created the account.
- Clicked the link in the confirmation email.
Get the currency right first time. Changing it later means a chat with support, and it's much easier to simply pick pounds at the start.
Signing in on my laptop and my phone
The Log In button sits right next to Sign Up. Email, password, done. My browser saves the password, so on the laptop it's one click.
On my phone I use the mobile browser, since there's no app to install. I added a shortcut to my home screen, and face unlock fills in the password. It feels like opening an app, which is all I wanted.
The session stays signed in for a good while on my own devices. On anything shared I always log out from the account menu before I put it down.
My Rivo account, stage by stage
What each step asked of me and how long it took on my own account.
| Stage | What I did | What it asked for | How long it took me |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign up | Filled in the form on my laptop | Email, password, currency, personal details | About three minutes |
| First phone login | Signed in through the mobile browser | Email and password | Under a minute |
| Password reset | Used Forgot Password | Access to my inbox | About two minutes |
| KYC | Uploaded documents in the account area | Passport, bank statement, Skrill screenshot | About a day |
| Deposit limit | Set a weekly cap of £100 | Amount and period | A few seconds |
These are my own timings, and the sign up form can show slightly different fields depending on your country.
The day I forgot my password
It happened once, after I switched phones and the saved passwords didn't come across. I tapped Forgot Password under the login fields and typed my email.
The reset link reached my inbox in under a minute. I set a new password and was back at the roulette table two minutes later.
A friend of mine locked himself out after too many wrong attempts. Live chat checked a couple of details with him and had the account open again in about ten minutes.
- Look in spam and promotions if the reset email doesn't show up
- Use the exact email you signed up with
- Ask live chat for a fresh link if the old one has expired
KYC before my first withdrawal
Rivo asked for documents when I requested my first withdrawal. They wanted a photo of my passport, a bank statement from the last three months and a screenshot of my Skrill account showing my name.
I uploaded everything in the account area on my phone. Approval came in about a day, my first withdrawal followed, and I haven't been asked for anything since.
A friend had one photo rejected for being blurry. Shoot in good light with all four corners of the document in frame, and you shouldn't have that problem.
Upload your documents right after your first deposit instead of waiting for the withdrawal. I wish I had, it would have saved me a day.
Played here for about a month. Slots run smooth, the lobby is easy to navigate. The welcome bonus has 35x wagering, which is standard. Withdrawal to Skrill took about a day after KYC. Support answered my chat question in a few minutes. Nothing extraordinary, but it works.

What I check in my account area
Once I'm signed in, the account area is where I spend a minute before every session. My cash and bonus balances are shown separately, and an active bonus has a progress bar for the wagering.
The transaction history lists every deposit and withdrawal with its status, which is how I've kept track of my payout times over six months.
- Cash balance and bonus balance side by side
- Wagering progress on any active bonus
- Full deposit and withdrawal history
- My VIP level and cashback
- Deposit limits, reminders and timeouts
Limits and breaks I've set myself
In my first month I set a weekly deposit limit of £100 in the account settings. When I lowered it later, the change was instant. Raising a limit takes a while to kick in, which I think is the right way round.
There are also session reminders, timeouts and self-exclusion. I used a 24 hour timeout once after a bad night on roulette. It worked exactly as described, and I couldn't sign in until it ran out.
Small login hiccups I've run into
A couple of times the site signed me out after I'd been idle for a while. Slightly annoying, but sensible, and the slot I was on picked up where it stopped.
Once, after a site update, my phone browser kept showing an old version of the lobby. Clearing the browser cache fixed it on the spot. That's the full list of my login problems in six months, which is a short list.
Questions players ask me
Where is the Rivo login button?
Top right of every page, next to Sign Up. On my phone it sits in the header in the same place.
How long does Rivo sign up take?
It took me about three minutes, including clicking the confirmation email. The form is short and the documents come later.
Is there a Rivo Casino app?
Not one I download. I play in the mobile browser and keep a shortcut on my home screen, which works just as well.
My password reset email didn't arrive. What now?
Check spam and promotions first, mine landed in under a minute.
If it's still missing, make sure you typed the sign up email, then ask live chat for a new link.
When does Rivo ask for KYC?
In my case it was when I requested my first withdrawal. You can upload documents earlier in the account area, and I'd recommend it.
Which documents did Rivo ask me for?
A photo of my passport, a bank statement under three months old and a screenshot of my Skrill account with my name on it.
Can I use one account on my phone and laptop?
Yes. I switch between both all the time, and my balance, bonuses and VIP progress follow me.
Can I open a second account?
No. It's one account per person, and a duplicate can get both accounts closed along with any winnings.
