If I'm honest, the live casino is where most of my Rivo money goes. Slots are my weeknight habit, but Friday is roulette night, and the live lobby here is the main reason I kept my account open after the welcome bonus was done.
Rivo streams tables from Evolution, Ezugi and Pragmatic Live. That means Lightning Roulette, Infinite Blackjack, Speed Baccarat, Crazy Time and a long list of others, open at three in the morning just as much as at nine in the evening.
Below are my own sessions, the stakes I've seen at the tables I actually play, and how it all runs on my phone.
- 3 studios Evolution, Ezugi and Pragmatic Live
- 24/7 Tables always open
- From around 10p Lowest roulette stake I've used
- Crazy Time My favourite game show
How the Rivo live lobby is laid out
The live casino has its own tab, split into roulette, blackjack, baccarat, game shows and poker style games. Each tile shows the dealer's stream in miniature, so I can see which tables are busy before I sit down.
Hovering over a tile on desktop shows the minimum and maximum stake, which saves me opening tables I can't afford. On my phone I tap in and the limits show at the top of the betting screen.
My one gripe is the search. Typing roulette brings up dozens of tables, and I'd love a filter by minimum stake. I've got around it by adding my regular tables to favourites.
Roulette, where I spend most Fridays
Lightning Roulette is my table. I start with £30 and 20p chips spread across a few corners and a couple of straight numbers. The lightning strikes keep every spin interesting, even when I'm only betting a little.
My best night so far was a 100x strike on 17 with 50p on it, which paid £50 and turned a slow session into a very happy one. Most nights I finish somewhere between £10 down and £20 up, which is exactly the kind of evening I'm after.
When I want cheaper, faster spins I switch to Pragmatic's Mega Roulette or an Ezugi auto roulette wheel, where stakes start from around 10p. Immersive Roulette is my pick when I want slow motion replays and a bit of drama.
Live tables I play at Rivo and the stakes I've seen
My regular tables, which studio runs them and the lowest stakes I've played at.
| Game | Studio | Stakes I've seen | Why I play it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lightning Roulette | Evolution | From around 20p | Multipliers on straight numbers |
| Mega Roulette | Pragmatic Live | From around 10p | Cheap spins and quick rounds |
| Auto Roulette | Ezugi | From around 10p | No waiting between spins |
| Infinite Blackjack | Evolution | From around £1 | Always a free seat |
| Free Bet Blackjack | Evolution | From around £5 | Free doubles and splits |
| Speed Baccarat | Evolution | From around £1 | Rounds in under 30 seconds |
| Crazy Time | Evolution | From around 10p | Four bonus rounds |
Limits change from table to table, and the exact range shows the moment you open each game.
Blackjack tables and seat limits
Classic blackjack tables seat seven players, and at peak times they fill up. Minimums on the regular Evolution tables I've played start at around £5, with VIP tables going much higher.
That's why I mostly play Infinite Blackjack. Everyone plays the same hand, there's always a seat, and I can bet from around £1. Free Bet Blackjack is my second choice, with free doubles and splits that feel generous until the dealer hits 22.
If a table is full, Bet Behind lets me back another player's hand. I've done it a few times and it's a decent way to learn how stronger players handle tricky spots.
Baccarat, quick and quiet
I don't play much baccarat, but when I do it's Speed Baccarat. Rounds take under half a minute and there's nothing to decide beyond player, banker or tie.
Pragmatic's Mega Baccarat adds random multipliers, which I enjoy more than I expected. Stakes on the tables I've tried started at around £1, and the dealers keep things moving without any fuss.
Joined for the live tables and stayed for them. Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time both run fine on my phone. I skipped the welcome bonus because I mostly play live. Paid out to Neteller the next day. The promotions page is a bit cluttered, but I don't mind.

Game shows: Crazy Time and friends
Crazy Time is pure entertainment. I put £1 split across the bonus segments, and the night Cash Hunt paid 25x I made my partner come and watch the screen. The host was having almost as much fun as I was.
Monopoly Live, Dream Catcher and Funky Time from Evolution are all here, and so is Pragmatic's Sweet Bonanza CandyLand. Most of them start from around 10p, which makes them a cheap way to wind down at the end of a session.
- Crazy Time for the four bonus rounds
- Monopoly Live when I want a slower pace
- Dream Catcher for simple wheel spins
- Funky Time for the music and the bonus games
- Sweet Bonanza CandyLand for the candy multipliers
Live streams on my phone
Most of my live sessions happen on my phone on the sofa. On home Wi-Fi the streams are sharp, and on 4G the quality drops a notch now and then without ever freezing the round.
I turn the phone sideways for roulette so the racetrack and the wheel fit together. Blackjack works fine upright. The chat is there if you want it, and the dealers really do read it and reply.
The honest downside is battery. An hour of live play takes a real chunk out of my phone, so on long nights I keep a charger nearby.
Live play, bonuses and getting paid
Live tables count very little towards bonus wagering, so I play live with cash only. On reloads where I know I'm heading for roulette, I simply skip the bonus.
My live winnings go out the same way as everything else. My Skrill withdrawals land in around a day, and the £50 from that lightning strike was in my e-wallet the next afternoon.
Decide your live budget before you sit down, and keep it in cash rather than bonus money. Your wins stay clean and you can withdraw them whenever you like.
Questions players ask me
Which live casino studios does Rivo have?
Evolution, Ezugi and Pragmatic Live. Between them there's roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker style games and the big game shows.
What's the cheapest live game I can play?
Mega Roulette, Ezugi's auto roulette and Crazy Time have all let me bet from around 10p. Lightning Roulette starts at around 20p.
Is it hard to get a blackjack seat?
Classic tables fill up at peak times. I play Infinite Blackjack, where there's always room, or use Bet Behind when a table I like is full.
Does Rivo have Crazy Time?
Yes, along with Monopoly Live, Dream Catcher, Funky Time and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand. Crazy Time is my favourite of the lot.
How does live casino run on mobile?
Very well on Wi-Fi, and fine on 4G with the odd dip in picture quality. I play most of my live sessions on my phone.

You can, but live games barely count towards the 35x wagering. I clear bonuses on slots and keep live play for cash.
Are the tables open all night?
Yes. I've played Lightning Roulette at two in the morning and it was as busy as ever.
How quickly do live winnings get paid out?
The same as any other winnings. My Skrill withdrawals usually arrive in around a day, and cards take a few working days.
